About Camrose Camerata

Camrose Camerata is an auditioned, community-based adult chamber choir that came into existence in the Fall of 2003. The name Camerata is an Italian word first used in the Renaissance to describe a group of individuals who share a strong passion for a particular art form, and who get together (often in a chamber or camera) to share their loved art form. We believe this reflects the spirit of this group.

The 2013-2014 season marked the 10th anniversary year for our ensemble. Throughout our more than ten years of singing and performing together, our mission has been threefold:

Our 2015-2016 season will include: Lessons and Carols with Camrose and Area Children’s Choirs and EmBellish Handbell Choir Sunday, December 13, 2015 (tentatively - alternate date Sunday, November 29) at both 4 and 7 pm; Mystery, Awe and Wonder; songs of the ineffable - Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 3pm; and Expressions; Choral Coffee House, Saturday, April 19, 2016.
